Privacy notice

This notice explains how Empire Clearance LLC handles inquiries, online orders, and resale documentation.

Information you provide

Inquiries may include your name, business, email, sales channel, quantity, preferences, and destination. The general inquiry form opens a draft in your own email app. Checkout separately collects and stores business/contact information, delivery address, lot and shipping selections, purchase acknowledgments, order amounts, payment references, and any resale certificate you upload.

How we use information

We use this information to respond to requests, review resale eligibility, confirm shipping and pickup, process payment, fulfill orders, resolve payment issues, prevent abuse, and maintain tax and business records.

Payment processing

When enabled, secure card fields are provided by Square. PayPal and eligible Venmo payments are processed through PayPal. These providers handle payment credentials under their own privacy notices. We store payment references and order status, not full card numbers or security codes. Never email full card details or banking passwords.

Documents and access

Uploaded certificates are stored privately and linked to their orders and customer records. We assign a customer ID and may reuse a reviewed blanket certificate for qualifying repeat purchases. A one-time email code verifies access before checkout displays saved-certificate status. We do not disclose saved documents to someone merely entering an email address. Access is restricted to authorized business administration. They are not public website downloads. Please provide only the information required for resale verification; do not upload unrelated identity or financial documents.

Cookies and service providers

Essential HTTP-only cookies also support short-lived verification challenges and a verified email session lasting up to 30 days. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. An essential, HTTP-only checkout cookie lets the browser that created an order access its status and submit documents. Payment providers may use their own cookies and device information to process and protect payments. Hosting/storage providers process order data on our behalf. Carrier or shipping services receive delivery details when needed to quote or fulfill a shipment. A limited, hashed network identifier is used to restrict abusive checkout attempts.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell buyer information. We may share necessary information with payment providers, carriers, hosting providers, advisers, or authorities for transactions, operations, legal compliance, or protection of legal rights. Order, payment, and certificate records are retained as needed for tax, accounting, disputes, and law. Applicable New York certificate records are retained for at least three years from the due date of the return reporting the last covered sale, or longer when required.

Your choices

You may request corrections or ask us to stop non-transactional follow-up. Some records must be retained for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
